Is this some sort of glitch or did greenday have like an insane day yesterday on spotify for some reason? The movie maybe making people listen more?

They do this fairly often, certain versions of songs being on comps or whatever that are not registering their plays to the main version of the song. A few weeks ago Haushinka for example had a similar one day spike.
It sucks for our data though. Not only does it mess up the Spotify dashboard stats but also our GDFM30 and GDFM100 charts. I’ll have to see if I can somehow exclude yesterday from effecting numerous data points on the site.
EDIT: This has been corrected on our end, the streams were added to the songs overall counts but data for yesterday was normalized and will no longer effect the dashboard best days, trending, etc.
