The new song is pretty forgettable tbh I don’t think i’ve even listened to it once since it came out. I do wanna hear the analog dogs songs though. Didn’t Billie Joe and his son write them?

Jakob did for sure, not sure what Billie’s involvement was lyrically. It would make more sense for his son to be writing songs from the movie band’s perspective since he’s closer in age to them. Billie could have worked on the actual music though, we’ll have to wait for the credits on Friday to find out.

I’m interested to see how the songs are used in the movie and why those songs specifically - there are some deeper cuts in there than you’d expect. Also interested to see how I’m never gonna RIP is used in the movie.
The movie screened before when it was first in festivals and stuff and rip was not in the movie so unless they added it after it won’t be in there

They are pretty good, just got back from vacation so I haven’t had a chance to really go through it but on first listen I really liked ‘Bored’.
Finally listened and that song is great, sounds like jakob was channeling longview or something when he wrote that
I’ve had it on repeat for days now, it sounds so much like early green day but like updated for the new generation or something I love it so much!
