So excited for this! Hope this will be like the xm station maybe? I don’t get xm so I missed out on that. Anyone got more info on what this will be?
They have them for other bands, they are typically just a 24/7 YouTube playlist on repeat of music videos and live performances. It’s really up to whoever is running it how good it ends up being, it could just be the same thing repeating over and over or they could continually update it with new content, who knows.
There’s certainly some fun content they could sprinkle in there but we’ll have to wait and see how much effort will actually go into curating the channel.
I seen ones for radiohead and metallica and they were ok but nothing to be too excited about.
I wonder if the live movie they made at wembley will finally be released on this?
Woah so excited for this! Hopefully they release some exclusive footage like concerts stuff that hasn’t been played before maybe
Probably cost too much money to film and all that to just release for free on youtube

Normally I would say so too but like what is the hold up? If its not released for christmas season then I can’t see it ever being released
Happy to admit I was wrong, GDTV is sick! They actually seem to be putting in some effort in making it cool which I wasn’t expecting

Yeah its been a pleasant surprise so far for sure and they noted that it will be updated weekly with new content so looking forward to see what all they come out with
Edit: They just played a concert that not only had never been released before but we didn’t even have a setlist for!

Do you think we can expect these shows to be dropped online somewhere for on demand viewing?
Also I’m very curious on how this is managed, is it just stuff off the web, their own vaults, both?
I guess I’m just hyped
So far its been a mix of vault stuff and previously available material on YouTube sprinkled with new original content. Content will likely repeat numerous times throughout each week before being shuffled with new stuff so you should have plenty of opportunity to see it and I would imagine there are fans capturing the cool stuff and it will get reposted at some point.

I heard they played 2 unreleased shows last night? I was not expecting this, this channel is fucking awesome!
I really hope they play these again and I wish they had some kind of schedule posted so we could know when to watch for what we want to see
More repeat content today was anything new added? I wonder how much it will change day to day or if it will just be weekly? Has anyone seen teh billie joe show yet?

Whelp seems like all repeat stuff now so I guess we get like 24 hours of content for a week and then it just repeats which is understandable, just wish I didn’t binge watch it all lol
I keep thinking I’ve seen it all but every once in a while I tune in and see some small thing I haven’t seen before. Probably best in the future to not put so much effort in to trying to see things right away though and catch them throughout the week so you don’t run out of content on day 2!
So when do we figure the weekly switch will be? It opened on a Thursday in like the middle of the day. Maybe Fridays will be the refresh day?
