Soemone on reddit posted a scan of Green Day ‘Rider’ from, I believe, 1992, and in that it asks to not be booked alongside ALL.
I was wondering if anyone knew or heard anything about this? If they have any sources on why this would be?
This was over 30 years ago, and since then it seems the two bands are fine with each other, so I’m not saying there’s a problem now, more just interested in what the issue was in the past

My guess is that was written by John and he had beef with someone in the band. They were on the same bill twice in 1989 and then again after John left in 1993. But the band also frequently talked shit about other bands in the early days so who knows, could have been any of them that had a problem with them I guess.
I remember a reporter asking Billie about the descendants and he didn’t say anything bad just that they were before their time or something and not really what they listened to
