I really thought that was going to be significant this year for their 50th birthdays but it wasn’t so now I’m thinking for 2023 they’re going to go with the best months for marketing purposes and their tour schedule

I’m still confused why it didn’t come out last year when it seems like it was setup for that with the title and teases

Me too. I guess they want to line it up with a tour next year. They’ll definitely tour for this album. It’s still so weird that FOAM never got one

I have a feeling that it’ll be similar to when 21st Century Breakdown was released. They release the album in May, and by the summer they’ll be on tour again. Maybe even an additional leg of the tour next year too :eyes:

Yup they gonna start promoting and first single in February before the innings concert and by may the album will be out I bet. Summer tour

I can’t see a release date for the Blink album which may or may not influence them but it may be wise to not be too close to it. They often release in September but who knows. I would really like to not have to wait til then.

Aren’t they touring this summer? I doubt they would wait till after summer to release it if they are touring before then

I don’t think they could tour this summer even if they wanted to, so many bands still catching up on Covid cancelled tours, think it’ll just be a few festivals.

I feel like if it was spring, we’d have gotten something by now. They’re cutting it really close if they go with that. We haven’t even gotten a single yet.

Even if they released a single in early February that’s still 3 months until May, they’d have time to release one in early April and then another right when the album comes out

There’s time for Spring if they announce it by March, that’s assuming it’s done though

I just realized that they have a show next month. Would be odd if they replicate a hella mega set considering that is the same festival they played last year.

I mean… Bang Bang came out in August with the album coming out in October. It’s totally possible, but with the reports that they’re still recording the damn thing I’m not so sure.
