Whats a Green Day song you initially hated but have seen grown to enjoy?

For me its definitely Father of All… On the first few listens I couldnt stand it but coming back to it now Ive grown to enjoy it and actually wish it was in the setlist rotation. Its not a great song but I definitely think it makes a great live song

Never liked Kill the DJ when it came out but it’s kind of fun to hear once in a while

Little Boy Named Train was one of my least favorite Trilogy songs I found it cringey but it’s grown on me and I like it fine now

For a while I didn’t like most of Kerplunk, but it definitely grew on me. I honestly prefer that cover of My Generation over the original (even though I still love The Who lol)

I would have to agree with FOA… Same with teenage teenager, I found that song annoying, but it’s weirdly grown on me?? Idk what it is lol. Also some of the trilogy songs like Wow! That’s loud and sex, drugs, violence I wasn’t really keen on but I don’t mind them now.

I used to really dislike brutal love… I have since realized the error of my ways tho haha. Their knowledge cover has also really grown on me, I think I was just too used to hearing the original. but gd’s version is a vibe, especially the live bootleg

Yeah have to say even tho I wish they would change up the setlist, I have enjoyed the knowledge cover live, it is good fun.

21 Guns is one song that I hated at first listen and now, everytime I hear it again, it seems the first listen over and over

Song of the Century. Skipped it for years but now I really love its melody and vocals.
