Unreleased songs

Sorry if this has been asked b4 but I was looking through the new song guide on gdfm and noticed a bunch of songs ive never heard of before like kill whitey, heroin pop I, heroin pop II, one eye bastard, I want you around, mutron jam. Most other songs are connected to a album recording session or were played live but these werent. Does anyone have more information on them?

I think Jason keeps the site pretty up to date so anything he has listed is all the information that is known

Those are all songs we know nothing about other than that they were registered with the company that collects royalties on songs for them. I have asked for more info on them but still waiting on that. I have heard one of the songs you listed and it’s very very good but I can’t say more about that until the album comes out.

Did you just confirm a 1972 (or whatever it’s called) song is one of those??? And it’s very very good! Holy shit so nice to have some bit of news!!!

Oh my god? You just confirmed that at least one of these is on Album 14? I’m so excited to hear that one if you said it’s good

It was recorded for Album 14, doesn’t mean it will for sure make the final track list. I can’t see it not making it but I guess that would be a positive if it doesn’t, it would mean they have even better stuff.

I understand you can’t give away too much information, but can you say what vibe the song gave off? Like, would we be expecting the sound to be something new or something similar to one of the past albums?

I’m not going to go into details for a couple reasons, the main one being that the band doesn’t want anything spoiled. The other is that what I heard was an early demo and as you’ve heard with the Nimrod demos things can change a lot between demo and album.

The only reason I was willing to say anything about it at all is because all those songs are publicly listed by the company that collects royalties for them.

Thank you for the information. Feeling like 2019 when we were waiting for Father of all.

This feels so much longer since they teased that an ep might come out in 2020 and it’s now 2023 and there was no ep a bunch of teasing and then silence about the new album

Just to clear up something that has been brought up on the discord and I was just PM’d about - the songs that Dessie listed above are all very old, except for one, and have been listed on that copyright database for years, like before even Revolution Radio. By no means was I trying to give the impression that those were all potential songs from the new album. I do not know what songs will be on the new album.
