Set list desires?

I hope nobody has made this post already, I did have a scroll and couldn’t see one…

Just wondering what songs folks would like to see on a GD setlist? If you have a whole dream setlist feel free to share btw I’m interested in what ppl like/want.

I have seen some discussion on their sets surrounding the lack of newer material on the HM tour which was telling imo, but I think there’s some good songs in there that could sit well on a regular set rotation. That being said I would kill for some of the lesser played songs from their older albums.

Personal wants (in no particular order):

Whatsername
The Grouch
Sassafras roots
2000 lightyears away
Give me Novocaine
Viva La Gloria
Fuck Time (honestly I would die if they played this live I think it would be hilarious)

I know this will never happen but if they played You Irritate Me live… I’d be one happy Mykey

The Grouch, Scattered, Bab’s Uvula Who (talk about a pipe dream…), Geek Stink Breath, One of My Lies, Burnout, Armatage Shanks, Paper Lanterns, All the Time, Idk literally anything pre-AI that wasn’t a single would be welcome on my dream setlist lol.

I think my biggest realistic set list want is to have several songs on rotation rather than the same setlist every night. My biggest issue with hella mega wasnt just that it was a hits setlist my biggest issue is that it was literally the same setlist every night

Bring back songs like JAR, At the Library, Stuck With Me, Letterbomb, Bang Bang, One of My Lies, and get them on a rotation.

As for personal desires I really want to hear To Dumb Too Die, Whatsername, Give Me Novacaine, One for the Razorbacks, Reject, Stuart and the Ave, Lazy Bones, and X-Kid played live

While I like this in theory, I just know I’ll be bitter as hell that another city got a song I desperately wanted to hear lol. I don’t mind a strict setlist, but I think it needs some serious revamping going forward. No more covers, no long drawn out songs (or at least no more than one), throw in some deep cuts.

They could even split up their shows into acts in a way. Have a few songs from each era, so that way we get a nice wide ranging variety. Maybe that’s dumb, Idk. They’ve been around too long and have too diverse a catalogue to make a setlist we’d all be pleased with lol.

I mean fair to be bitter but its certainly worked for RHCP and MCR.

I do really like this song, I would love to hear a live version or for them to release a full non-demo

Yeah this is kind of the thing, I would really like them to change it up for the next tour. I love the songs that they played on HM but like 80% of them were also on the last tour set. I’m dying for some deep cuts

Would be awesome to see Geek Stink Breath, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, Uptight, anything from Warning, Too Much Too Soon, or Holden Caulfield … manifesting

What Linkin Park use to do was have 2 sets, A and B, and maybe the UK tour would be set A, and then North America would be the B set etc. I think that’d work well

True, they really don’t play much from warning

Misery, All the Time, Redundant, The Grouch, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, 8th Ave Serenade, and Walk Away.

I only know that my setlist dream is a set where the first song is Panic Song. Always thought that song would be a great opener for a show :sunglasses:
