I have an incredibly hard time comprehending how so many of GD’s hits are famous and songs like these get so forgotten. We need more appreciation for the deep cuts!

Pretty deep thoughts for a teenager, but then this is someone who was intimately familiar with mortality at a young age so it’s no wonder it permeates his songwriting. It gives early Green Day a unique depth that set them apart
