Does anyone know what the last song was that Billie recoreded with Blue? I know he uses her for Youngblood and Minority sometimes, but what was the last studio session with that guitar?

I could be remembering this wrong, but before the whole Network takeover, Billie posted a picture of Blue on his Instagram, it looked beat up and definitely showed how much it’s been through. From what I know, the guitar has been out of commission since the early 2000’s, but he has a replica made and uses it.

Thats not true at all. The blue he uses today on tour is the same one he used over 30 years ago. You might be thinking of his LP JR Floyd which has been taking out of commission

I didn’t know he still used his original Blue, I thought I remembered reading somewhere it was out of commission.

He still uses OG Blue, it’s the one he plays onstage at every show. He had some replicas in the 90’s but no longer uses them. According to Hans in his rig rundown on YT, Blue has had very little done to it over the years. He no longer uses it to record though. It’s possible he hasn’t recorded with it since Dookie

Yeah either Insomniac or Dookie were the last albums because it isnt used on Nimrod at all

Blue is in the video for Minority, so I always assumed at least then

That doesn’t mean he recorded the song with it, just that it’s such an iconic instrument he held it in the video. They mime to a studio track when they film, so he’s not really playing it
