For whatever reason, RevRad’s simplicity made it all the better. It seemed to somehow fit songs like Bang Bang while even fitting songs like Ordinary World.

21st Century Breakdown all the way. I like the theme and art style on the cover and liner notes. My favorite picture in the booklet has to be the gas mask one (only in the special edition vinyl and CD release)

I thought it sucked :woman_shrugging: I don’t mind a simple one, like kerplunk and idiot are great but that one was boring and just looked like some stock photo and then they had the mask picture on the inlay just terrible all around sorry lol

Worst is Foamf though and best is kerplunk

I like most of them but Dookie has become so iconic though Insomniac is brilliant too. I saw the much slammed Revrad album across a vinyl store and it looked really great and very distinctive sitting amongst a whole row of other albums.

I don’t think their album art is that great overall but they have hit it out of the park a couple of times and there’s no denying Dookie is the best. I also love the iconic flower and look of Kerplunk and the whole “Green Day presents American Idiot” thing combined with that now iconic logo had just the right amount of arrogant swagger (and the goods to back it up).

I love kerplunk, my favorite song from that record is probably Android or Who Wrote Holden Caulfield
FOAMF did suck, American Idiot was my favorite, just listened to it too much, and RevRad and Warning are extremely underrated

Voted for Dookie because it’s iconic. Kerplunk’s makes me nostalgic in a way? Like, it’s just very of its time. I think Nimrod is great, and it weirdly reminds me of Best Buy, because I can still picture going and picking it up from there. Insomniac is probably my favorite album of theirs, but it’s not my favorite cover. However, that reissue for its anniversary was fantastic.

Unpopular opinion, I know, but I’m really not a fan of the American Idiot artwork despite how iconic it’s become. That and 21CB are a bit too DeviantArt for my taste lol.

Love everything about 21CB down to the colors and art used, but I really like the cover for Dookie for how wild and the amount of references there are.
