Extraordinary Girl is so good, but I think I am going to have to go with East Jesus Nowhere. Another tough choice.

I love East Jesus Nowhere, but I feel like a lot of fans are divided on it.
How so? I wasn’t really aware of that for this song specifically, just that 21CB as a whole sometimes doesn’t get love because it is as seen as an attempt to repeat AI.

Like with much of Green Day’s work (and one of the specific things I love about them), I think the song is deliberately provocative to call out intolerance and hate. Sorry your friends are being intolerant.

I’ve never loved it and it took me a while to warm up to just liking it. It’s heavy and not super catchy or melodic, just not what I like best about Green Day

Yeah I think EJN is really the only option here. ES and EG are both the most forgettable songs on their respective albums and Espionage is an instrumental so loses a LOT of points for lack of singalongability.
