Voted for Nice Guys Finish Last because I love that song and especially its video; however, I am kinda sad over not voting for Nightlife because I believe Nightlife does not get anywhere near the respect it deserves. It has a certain deliciousness to it and is very unique.

It’s just annoying, poorly written and feels like a missed opportunity. You can like it if you want, but I don’t see why you would.
EDIT: Just listened to it again. I stand by it feeling sloppy.

No One Knows by a landslide for me. Nuclear Family is meh. No Pride is forgettable. I like NGFL but it’s nothing special. I like Nightlife but I get why people don’t, there’s definitely a fair bit of cringe in there. Whereas No One Knows is beautiful, lovely bassline, catchy lyrics and melody, and even tho the vocals are kinda monotonous I found it fits the song really well. Definitely a favourite from Kerplunk.

I think Nice Guys Finish Last is my favorite out of these, but Nuclear Family is a great track too. The countdown at the end is cool

Glad to see No One Knows holding its own. Underrated song. Nightlife works if you take Lady Cobra’s voice off. I always wondered if I’d like it better if it were released as a Foxies song.

I voted No Pride cause I love the vocal delivery and all the lyrics and harmonies, but would
love nothing more than a kerplunk song like No One Knows to win

I feel like they deliberately made it a song not to be taken overly seriously, a joke essentially. And they made a conscious choice to do something very out of character stylistically, and I think they executed it well. Still much better than all of FOAM, where the execution did not seem to match what they were trying to do stylistically.

I don’t feel like it would work without Lady Cobra though. It makes the most sense as a duet. And I like how they gave the publicity to someone from a lesser-known band.

Nightlight musically is really good but holy hell are the lyrics and vocals garbage. I’ll take Nice Guys any day. Just feels like pure punk rock/pop punk

I do like it musically as well. I wouldn’t call the lyrics garbage; I just think, as I said above, that it’s just supposed to be a dirty/funny/guilty pleasure joke of a song. It wasn’t like Billie was trying to demonstrate his songwriting prowess with this one LOL.
