Over the span of GD’s existence we’ve seen quite a lot of Songs that never found their way onto an Album. So what is your favorite non-album song? Mine has to be Hearts Collide.

I think JAR wins for sure but honourable mention to Stay, You Lied and Things I Heard Today.
Obviously tastes differ but when you look at some of the songs that never made an album vs some of the songs that did it really makes you wonder what they were thinking sometimes. Not unique to GD in anyway though, I recently listened to Linkin Parks Meteora anniversary edition and can’t believe Lost and Fighting Myself didn’t make the album.

I would say Suffocate and Hearts Collide. HC wouldn’t fit on 21cb though buy maybe in the trilogy?

I think the reason they didn’t make the cut on Meteora is because all the other songs were too good. Would you really cut any of them?

I would yeah but that just goes back to what I said that tastes differ. They also could have just included them and not dropped any song. Most often in these cases I think it’s just that the band doesn’t think the songs fit the flow of the album or there are other songs on the album that sound similar.
Regardless, mostly a moot point nowadays as b-sides aren’t really a thing anymore so a lot of bands just release a deluxe version with all the songs anyway.
