Why would that make more sense? You make it sound like there’s some rule that they can’t release an album in the same month that they play a festival.

It would make more sense because you ideally want solo shows to support the album not festivals and it doesnt seem like Green Day is budging on the setlist either

Yeah feels like it’s just not a priority for them to be letting fans in on it yet which kinda sucks, cuz even if it was coming out later ppl would still be pre-ordering stuff and getting excited. I mean Skindred for example announced their new album is coming out August 4th like over a month ago and they’ve already released 2 singles and are hyping up the pre-release. Ik smaller band, but still.

I understand that venues in the UK and can only assume everyone is in the same position, are really full with lots of bands and events still catching up from Covid cancellations, I have never thought they would tour this year.
